I've always heard a connection between "Lesson 3" and "Magic Number," with the same beat and the "what does it all mean," but I never would have thought that they just sampled it all straight from "Lesson 3." I thought you couldn't do that. I thought it was against the sampling code or something. But this really good 3 Feet High And Rising making-of interview tells how they didn't really think anything out, and just did whatever sounded good at the time.
